3.15.1993

Joe made me an offer the other day concerning the apartment. He said if I wanted to, I could have Mark's old room for the same amount of money, $200 a month. I think I'm going to take him up on it. The attic is nice but spending the summer in here is probably gonna be real crummy. It will become an oven. I can't fit much furniture into the attic anyway because of the low ceilings and angled walls. The split level floor doesn't help a whole lot either.

I got a card in the mail from a local electronics retailer the other day. They turned me down for a job.

I don't want to look for a job today. All I want to do is sleep. I have to drop off an application for a job at Bill and Dave's company this morning. I've heard alot of good things about Bill and Dave's for years. There are alot of people employed by them around here and they always tell me they are treated well and enjoy their work. My neighbor across the street from my parents house was one of the first people hired by Bill and Dave when they started out in a garage. His name is Ed. Bill and Dave still fly Ed up to some ranch they have way up north a couple of times a year to go on fishing and hunting trips with them. Every time he comes back he says they had a great time. I think that's really cool they remember the people that helped make their company so successful. I don't have much else going on for job prospects so I hope this application with Bill and Dave's company goes somewhere.

I've got to remember to put my unemployment forms in the mail tomorrow.
